Pre Budget Message

We have submitted our pre-Budget submission to Minister for Social Protection Joan Burton. In it we debunk the myth that older people have escaped unscathed from recent cuts and charges, we emphasise the importance of a meaningful positive ageing strategy and we highlight the supports which must be retained that assist older people to maintain independence and dignity, manage their health, stay socially connected and to continue to support their families and communities.
